All the good names like "salmugundi" and "affray" and "lucubration" were taken. Who knew every other person in the world has already gone through the dictionary and taken all the good names.
Like Shakespeare said ""What's in a name? That which we call a rose, by any other name would smell as sweet." From Romeo and Juliet (II, ii, 1-2)
Do do words matter? Do names matter? My grandmother taught my cousins and me to say "sticks and stones will break my bones but names will never harm me" whenever someone called us names. But it wasn't true. Names do hurt. Words hurt or heal.
